An the Work moves on!!

Here it is the first of February and we are up to our necks in applications for loans and trying to get things processed before the new application program goes into effect.  Last count was about 40+ application.
We have been having some great experiences.  Two weeks ago we went to a small branch about 1 ½ hours north of Ikeja.  What a sweet spirit was there we are going back next week to visit the members and support the Branch.  They have four young men preparing for missions and being taught by the Branch Mission leader.  The only picture we got was the baptismal fount.
This is a view of a road side market area.  Markets like these are every where.  It amazes me that in these place the people are mostly dressed very nice and clean,
Here are some pictures of the missionaries and volunteers who work in the Center.  They are a great group of young men and women.  Nathanial this last week received his Mission call and is excited to go serve the Lord.

We also this week went with Brother and Sister Brown to what is called Snake Island there are about 20+ members there and we were looking for a building to rent for then to have Church in.  Access to the island is by boat.  Transportation on the island is by motor bike.  Marsha looks good on the back of one.

I actually used and umbrella.  Thanks Mom

This week was culminated with an area Conference with Elder Bednar and Elder Clayton.  What a wonderful Conference it has been.  Like the new format of teaching in the Lords way that was used.  More of a period question and answer directed towards gospel principles and doctrine.
We love what we are doing and appreciate all the support that we receive from you at home,
